Washington, D.C.— “We are disappointed the President vetoed the Water Resources Development Act,” said Associated General Contractors of America (������˾��) CEO Stephen E. Sandherr. “While we did not succeed in convincing him of the merits of this important infrastructure legislation, ������˾�� is confident that we have convinced Congress that it is worthy of support not withstanding the President’s veto.”

“������˾�� has called on our allies in Washington and our members across the country to work with Chairman Jim Oberstar (D-Minn.), Ranking Member John Mica (R-Fla.) in the House, Chairwoman Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and Ranking Member James Inhofe (R-Okla.) in the Senate to support the override of the President’s veto,” noted Sandherr.
